USDA Foods Overview Study Guide

The USDA Foods Overview Study Guide is a detailed glance into all of the USDA Foods programs offered under the USDA Foods umbrella. Through these various program areas the USDA is able to support domestic nutrition programs through purchases from American agricultural producers and administrative funding. This core competency area will cover various processes and activities associated with these programs as well as identify entities that most utilize the programs. The goal of the USDA Foods Overview is for the participant to gain an overarching understanding of the programs offered within USDA Foods providing at a minimum a basic concept associated with each program.
