ACDA is proud to equip our members with the food distribution education, training and networking opportunities they need to successfully navigate the USDA Foods programs.
The ACDA Food Distribution Program is dedicated to empowering individuals with comprehensive knowledge of USDA Foods programs. Our goal is to enhance understanding at a high level, fostering informed decision-making and engagement to improve program operations and create a stronger community of professionals.
Members can further their careers in food distribution through completing each of six competency areas, becoming Certified as a Food Distribution Professional and earning a highly respected Food Distribution Specialist (FDS) credential. Learn more about ACDA's Food Distribution Education Program.
Each year, ACDA sponsors an Annual Conference that is unique among other association events. Rather than being an event where Manufacturers and Processors, Brokers and Distributors showcase their products and services, this conference convenes in the spirit of cooperation among its members, with everyone focused on how to strengthen USDA Foods distribution programs. Attendees network and meet USDA leaders to learn about legislation and program updates.
ACDA is proud to provide our members with training from the leading experts, speakers and educators in the field of food distribution through online webinars. These food distribution education programs are available free of charge to members and are available to non-members for a fee. Explore training events.
