Cheryl Moore, Food Distribution Program Specialist
Indiana Department of Education
Cheryl Moore is one of the two food distribution program specialists in Indiana. She has worked in Indiana State Government for 20 years. Ten of those years have been with the Indiana Department of Education working with the Child Nutrition Programs. Cheryl oversees the state assigned warehouses, annual survey, DoD diversions and direct delivery allocations and collaboratively with Linda Smith, Senior Food Distribution Program Specialist. Together, they oversee a $40-60 million dollar program which encompasses 450+ school districts.
Kathleen Staley, Chief Program Integrity and Monitoring Branch
Food Distribution Division, USDA, Food and Nutrition Service
As Chief of the Program Integrity and Monitoring Branch with USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, Food Distribution Division she oversees the management of the USDA Department of Defense (DoD) Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, working closely with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), USDA Foods entitlement for the Child Nutrition Programs, the USDA Foods National Processing program and USDA Foods feedback. Together with her team they provide technical assistance to support the State Distributing Agencies and schools to efficiently and effectively order, distribute, and utilize USDA Foods.
