Integrated Food Service
I’m a husband and a father of 4 and a Pop Pop to two beautiful baby granddaughters. I started my food service career in 1984 at Quik-to-Fix Foods (Quick is not misspelled), the summer I graduated high school. Starting in a guard shack logging trucks in and out on night shift while working my way through a two-year degree at Eastfield College. I stayed with Quik-to-Fix for 20 years.During my time there I worked with every part of K12 foodservice operations: from receiving to shipping, meat purchasing and commodity diversions, ingredient purchasing, managing commodities and state accounting, serving as superintendent of operations and VP of purchasing.I left Quik-to-Fix and went to Zartic Foods in 2004. That’s when I started my sales career. In all I worked as an RSM for 10 years, Director for 7 years and VP for 4 years. I found my happiness was working directly hands on with customers. This will be my 41st year in K12 foodservice.
My passions are God and family, teaching and sharing, wood working, fishing, hunting, kayaking, gardening. I’m a child of the 70’s and 80s so anything Star Wars I own it. I love history, muscle cars and power tools.
