Are you a large business that supplies food to the USDA’s feeding programs? Are you having difficulties developing your annual subcontracting plan? If so, let us help. The Agricultural Marketing Service’s (AMS) Commodity Procurement Program invites you to a live, interactive webinar on the “how-tos” of commercial subcontracting plans. As a reminder, large businesses that are awarded contracts valued at or over $750,000 must submit a commercial subcontracting plan in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations 52.219 and provisions of Public Law 95-507. Failure to submit a subcontracting plan will make your company ineligible for additional contract awards. Learn more about this crucial contracting process and get expert advice from the Office of Small Disadvantaged Business Utilization and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Andrea Lang and Diana Dau David of the Commodity Procurement Program will be presenting on the following topics:
- Subcontracting Requirements
- USDA Subcontracting Goals
- Overview of submitting a subcontracting plan
- Summary Subcontracting Reporting
- Common Subcontracting Mistakes
The webinar will be August 30 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time and is FREE. However, registration is required, and space is limited. You may register for the webinar below. When you register you will be provided with the opportunity to submit questions about subcontracting. If you have questions about the registration process, contact Andrea Lang, Andrea.Lang@usda.gov and Diana Dau David, Diana.Dau@usda.gov
